It is held in the Bangla Academy premises from the first day of February and lasts till the end of the month.

Some book fairs are also held in divisional cities of the country. In a book fair, hundreds and thousands of books are displayed in different bookstalls. The bookstalls stand in rows and are beautifully decorated. A huge number of book lovers of different tastes and cultures visit the fair.
